Due to the rising costs of consumables and other items which form part of our daily care, we have a voluntary charge of £1 per session. We hope that you agree that this is good value for maintaining a high standard of care for your child and we appreciate your support.
The list below details items which the sundries charge will apply to –

Snack items - 
Bread for toast
Spreads
Cheese
Fresh fruit daily
Celebration/festival unusual food items when required.
(please note the vast majority of the £1 charge is used for the above items)
 
Outings costs - 
Enhanced adult/child ratios on all outings for targeted learning and support. 
  This covers annual Entry fees into local attractions such as Sewerby farm and gardens, land train, Marton Manor Cafe items/paid refreshments and animal feeds, Filey Glen Garden extra costs etc.
Holidays - entrance to Playdale Farm, Filey Bird garden (examples of high cost outings)
MiniBus trips costs/ additional staffing/fuel etc.
 
Additional care items - 
Wipes for nappy changing/face cleaning, suncreams.

Speech Club - We pay an annual cost of £1300 per annum for the use of this facility and costs are spread through our voluntary subsidy.

 

*** Please note that the above sundries charge does not cover all the above costs, however we feel that this is an affordable contribution to ask families to make.

That being said we also appreciate that some families cannot afford this charge and so we wish to make it clear that this is a strictly voluntary contribution and would in no way affect your child's right to full funding entitlement without any costs attached should you wish not to pay.
