Welcome to our newly refurbished nursery, designed to provide a serene and calming environment for your little ones. Each space has been thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity and wonder, whilst at the same time ensuring delivery of a nurturing atmosphere that encourages exploration and growth.
While providing the same standards of personalised care and education as at Gable House, we are dedicated to creating a safe and enriching experience for every child based on individual needs and abilities.
The nursery is split into two rooms.
Baby Room - Baby Stars
Our separate baby room provides the most warm and caring environment for your baby which is run by highly experienced and qualified staff trained to work with babies and under two's. This room provides cot/sleeping facilities. This room leads onto a small separate private and safe changing room and toilet area.
Main Room - Little Stars and Super Stars
Our main room is subdivided into two age groups but we frequently mix the ages during our 'Free Flow' sessions, where children are able to access indoor/outdoor or a mixture of both based on personal preference. The room is planned and equipped to deliver high quality teaching through the use of a wide range of educational resources and a dedicated team of staff.
Burlington nursery has full access to a large playground, a small side playground, a huge green space/playing field and two secure enclosed forest school areas within the school grounds. In addition we also have secured the use of the school allotment for bespoke gardening sessions. All of these spaces enable children to have access to play and learning directly linked to our wider world and maths based curriculum aims and intentions.
Burlington Nursery and Gable House Nursery are linked. We feel like one huge team. Our curriculum aims for Burlington are identical to those at Gable House and we work as one to plan and facilitate high quality teaching in both settings.
